Judges Course Registration
Registration can be done through the online booking platform. You can choose to register for one or both judges courses.
Those interested from the Netherlands should register at 'NETHERLANDS Judges Course'. From June 1 to July 15, there are a limited number of places reserved for Belgians and Dutch separately. After July 15, we will open the remaining places to everyone.
For whom?
For anyone interested in becoming a judge and better understanding the scoresheets.
Minimum birth year is 2006.
Course Overview
This course covers the following topics:
- Learning to understand the perspective of judges on Cheer and Performance Cheer routines
- Learning to understand the difference between judge, coach and athlete
- Learning to use the judge grid and learning to evaluate and differentiate teams from each other.
*You are expected to master the basics about the different levels (Novice, Intermediate, Median, Advanced, Elite and Premier). You can take the course 'How to read the rulebook and create your routine' for this.
Test
After the online introduction, you will be given a short task to prepare by the weekend.
At the end of the training there will be a test, it will have to be taken in English.
Certificate
If passed, you will be awarded a diploma. If not passed, you will be given a certificate of attendance.
